DREW BREES has claimed the “can’t stand to watch” the Philadelphia Eagles’ “boring” offensive this season.
Brees, 46, brutally slammed the Eagles offense as he made his First Take with Stephen A. Smith debut on ESPN this week.

Jalen Hurts has led the Eagles to a 3-0 start off the back of winning the Super Bowl[/caption]
The retired quarterback and Super Bowl XLV champion didn’t hold back in his assessment of Jalen Hurts and Co, despite Philadelphia getting off to a 3-0 start to the campaign.
Brees was asked who he thought his top three quarterbacks in the league are, listing Jordan Love, Dak Prescott and Josh Allen as his favourite passers.
His omission of Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts had Stephen A. Smith shocked, but Brees doubled down on his decision by labelling the Eagles offense as “boring”.
He said: “I respect Philly. They are winning games, they are finding ways to win games.
“I can’t stand to watch that offense. It is the most boring offense. It is, I’m sorry.”
Brees doesn’t think that a lack of excitement will be detrimental to the Eagles’ season, however.
He added that Philadelphia can “absolutely” win the Super Bowl again by playing boring.
The Eagles have the lowest passing stats in the NFL this year, passing for just 479 yards in their opening three games.

By comparison, Prescott’s Cowboys have thrown for 841 yards, Love’s Packers have managed 663 yards and Allen has racked up 787 yards for the Bills.
However, only three teams have scored more touchdowns than the Eagles this season – showing that their offense is effective if not exhilarating.
Their use of the ‘Tush Push’ has come under criticism once again this term too.
Fox rules analyst Dean Blandino claimed he was “done with the tush push” and criticized it has “hard to officiate”.
While others have pointed out that the Eagles are often false starting when using the play.
“The false starts that happen on that play EVERY TIME is insane. Just a bad product,” one fan said.
Another added: “They stopped showing the tush push replays because it was obvious cheating every time.”
And a third posted: “The Eagles commit about five penalties during a Tush Push, and the NFL just doesn’t call them.”
