Sara Cardona, a sports anchor for NBC6 Miami, shared on social media that Moss joined her in the studio on Thursday.
“Had a special guest join me in studio today!” Cardona captioned her post.
“It was so great getting to interview Randy Moss!”
The former wide receiver looked healthy and happy from inside of the studio.
He wore a special sweatshirt that said “Team Moss” across the front.
Instead of an O in Moss, the sweatshirt had a cancer ribbon to symbolize his fight against the disease.
Also on the sweatshirt was the slogan “Let’s Moss cancer.”
Fans were thrilled to see Moss out and about again, and shared their love in Cardona’s comments.
“What a legend,” one fan said.
“Great to see him healthy! He is awesome!!” another fan said.
“Moss is LEGENDARY,” a third fan said.
“Go Randy, always cheering for you brother,” a fourth fan said.
“Glad Randy is feeling better!!” a fifth fan said.
Moss returned to TV action for the Super Bowl last season alongside his Sunday NFL Countdown crew.
It was later announced that he will be healthy enough to return to the show full-time starting Week 1 this season.
“Randy’s return on Super Bowl Sunday was an emotional lift — not just for our team but for the entire football community — and knowing he will resume his full Sunday NFL Countdown schedule, beginning in Week 1, has been the highlight of the offseason,” ESPN said in a statement to The Athletic.
Moss first revealed his health struggles in December of last year after fans noticed his eyes visibly yellowing.
