NFL COMMISSIONER Roger Goodell has fuelled swirling rumours that Taylor Swift could perform at the Super Bowl 2026 half-time show.
The singer has been increasingly linked with the glamorous honour of the half-time show since she started dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

And the rumours exploded into the stratosphere when the pair announced their engagement last month.
Goodell opened the door to the possibility when questioned about the music superstar’s potential involvement in the event on the TODAY show.
He said: “We would always love to have Taylor play. She is a special, special talent, and obviously she would be welcome at any time.”
When his statement was followed up by a question asking if it was actively in the works, he said: “I can’t tell you anything about it.
“I’m waiting on my friend Jay Z, It’s in his hands. I’m waiting for the smoke to come out.”
Jay Z’s entertainment company Roc Nation has produced the half-time show since striking a deal with the league in 2020.
Last year’s performer was rapper Kendrick Lamar, who was announced as the headliner in tandem with the beginning of the previous NFL season.
The new campaign is set to begin on Friday, suggesting a similar timeline would see the next Super Bowl star announced soon.
Fans have already begun speculating how a fairy-tale Super Bowl could play out for the happy couple, considering both of them could be playing major roles at the Super Bowl.
One fan on X said: “I can already see the whole thing playing out. Taylor Swift puts on a halftime show for the ages, the Chiefs get the Super Bowl win, and right after the game, Taylor and Travis announce they’re pregnant.
“Then, Travis retires from the NFL on top,” they added.
Another user concurred that the narrative was almost too good to be true.
They said: “Welp if Swift is the halftime shown then book it Chiefs will be in there because it’ll make for an amazing storyline.
Amid some backlash from die-hard NFL fans, another user said: “I don’t see Swift as the half-time show being a problem.
