THE NFL has decided on how to punish Jalen Carter after his spit on Dak Prescott.
He was caught spitting at the Dallas Cowboys quarterback as the Eagles claimed a 24-20 win last Thursday.

Defensive tackle Carter was ejected for this action before a snap had even been played to open the 2025 NFL season.
It has now been decided that he will serve no further punishment.
The NFL have decided that his ejection counts as a one-game suspension.
His ejection came just six seconds into the opening game of the new season.
This means that Carter will be available for the Eagles immediately.
He will be available for the Super Bowl champions as they travel to Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday.
It will be a Super Bowl LIX rematch as they take on the Kansas City Chiefs.
Carter will also forfeit his $57,222 paycheck from the opening game of the season.
It was later shown that the incident was actually triggered by Prescott.
The quarterback appeared to spit towards the ground in Carter’s direction before smiling and laughing at the Eagles man.
It was an eventful opening play as Ben VanSumeren was forced off through injury.
The 25-year-old was immediately placed on the Eagles’ injury list after laying on the turf for several minutes.
They have since revealed that VanSumeren will miss the rest of the season.
Running back Tank Bigsby, 24, has since been recruited from the Jacksonville Jaguars.

According to the NFL Players Association, Carter has waived his right to appeal his ejection.
The NFL’s decision to avoid punishing Carter further sets an interesting prescient for the league to follow this season.
His actions have been condemned by NFL executive vice president of football operations Troy Vincent.
Vincent has urged coaches and general managers to keep their players in line to avoid similar incidents in the future.
The Eagles could still impose their own punishment on Carter, although this is expected to remain in-house.
This means that Carter will be free to play against the Chiefs on Sunday.
