THE LOS ANGELES RAMS have signed Dresser Winn, beginning a third stint with the Rams for the quarterback.
Initial reports of a potential deal emerged last month and on Monday the 26-year-old’s return on a one-year deal was announced.

Winn entered the league with the Rams in 2023 but was let go after pre-season.
After a stint with Canadian Football League’s Edmonton Elks, he returned to the Rams’ practice squad.
He left again in 2024 after final roster cuts.
Now, he is joining up with the Rams again before training camp gets underway ahead of the new season.
Winn switched to the United Football League in March, signing for the Memphis Showboats.
He led the Showboats to their first win of the season, completing 17-of-29 passes for 235 yards, including a 78-yard touchdown to Wide Receiver Dee Anderson against the Birmingham Stallions.
Winn started four games, going 1-3 with three touchdown passes and four interceptions.
The Tennessee-born star also completed 58.4 percent of his throws for 834 yards.
Matthew Stafford – who signed a new deal in February – is Rams’ current go-to quarterback.
Stafford’s future as the No.1 starter appeared to be in question last season.
He hinted that he could retire after the Rams lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in the playoffs.
Stafford held talks with the New York Giants and the Las Vegas Raiders, co-owned by NFL legend Tom Brady, who was helping the team through its off season overhaul.
However, the 37-year-old eventually agreed new terms worth $44million for the upcoming 2025 campaign.
Speaking in March, Stafford’s coach Sean McVay told Sirius XM’s Mad Dog Radio: “We have a chance with him every time he’s at the switch, and love working with him.
“And I think he can play as long as he wants, but fortunately, I’m hoping it’s a couple more years.”

Jimmy Garoppolo and Stetson Bennett are on their roster behind him.
Winn is expected to back up Bennett in the preseason while Stafford and Garoppolo rest for the regular season.
The American’s first stint with the Rams came via signing as an undrafted free agent signee out of the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2023.
Last year, he spent the entire off season with the Rams after signing a reserve/future contract with the team in early January.
He was cut in August on both occasions.
This time he will be aiming to go further than the last two years and make it onto the 53-man roster.
The Rams start the season on September 7 against the Houston Texans.
