On Saturday, the team announced the cut of multiple players, including quarterback Ben DiNucci.
And DiNucci would quickly share his reaction to the brutal cut decision on social media.
“Not many beers better than the airport “I just got cut from the NFL for the 7th time beer,” DiNucci wrote on X along with a picture of his alcoholic beverage he was enjoying.
“Trust me, you wouldn’t understand.”
DiNucci had attempted just two passes, both of which were incomplete, in his appearance on Friday night.
The next day, unfortunately, he was cut from a team for a seventh time in his six-year career.
DiNucci was asked by one X follower if he had tried crying, and the 2020 seventh-round pick made sure to keep things in perspective.
“What is there to cry about,” DiNucci asked.
“I’ve had a 5 year NFL career and played on Sunday night football.
“Pretty cool if you ask med.”
DiNucci referenced the time when he started for the Dallas Cowboys in a SNF game against the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020 after the fill-in starter Andy Dalton suffered a concussion.
However, he disappointed in the game, completing just 21 of 40 passes and losing two fumbles along with being sacked four times in the loss.
DiNucci has since played for the XFL’s Seattle Sea Dragons and joined numerous teams in training camp, and signed with franchises’ practice squads.

The veteran will now look to earn a potential opportunity in the league once again.
