The offensive lineman filed papers in Baldwin County, Georgia on February 28 after claiming his wife cheated on him.
Terrell Cleveland responded with a cryptic message on social media in March.
But she responded to the court filing last week.
She said the claims were “knowingly false” as well as saying they were “made in bad faith.”
Terrell Cleveland also “vehemently” denied the claims and said she wanted to resolve all “matters and controversies” about the split.
The couple tied the knot in the summer of 2022.
They met when they both attended the University of Georgia.
Guard Cleveland was a third round NFL Draft selection by the Baltimore Ravens in 2021.
He re-signed with the Ravens in March during free agency.
And the couple had apparently already split before Christmas, according to Cleveland.
Kaitlyn posted a message on Instagram after the pair separated.
Her social media account in not currently active.
Terrell Cleveland shared some lyrics to a song by country musician Kelsea Ballerini.
The lyrics read, “The rumors goin’ ’round, but the truth is kinda nuanced.
“I wanna set it straight, but my lawyer says I shouldn’t.”
