AN NFL veteran has made his return to his former team a decade after they drafted him in the first round.
The 31-year-old receiver has played for four different NFL franchises, and is now back with his first.

Amari Cooper, 31, has returned to the Las Vegas Raiders just days before the 2025 season.
The five-time Pro Bowl star has signed a one-year contract with the
Raiders, six years after leaving for the Dallas Cowboys.
Cooper spent four seasons in Texas before joining the Cleveland Browns in 2022.
He was with the Buffalo Bills for the second half of last season before being made a free agent.
The veteran wide receiver was one of the highest-profile free agents
ahead of the upcoming season.
While the Pittsburgh Steelers are in the market for a new wide receiver, Cooper has instead opted for a return to his former team.
Cooper last played for the Raiders before they relocated from Oakland, California, and before Tom Brady’s investment.
And he will be working with general manager John Spytek for the first time, having played under Reggie McKenzie during his first stint in silver and black.
He has produced 711 receptions throughout his decade-long career, racking up more than 10,000 yards and scoring 64 touchdowns.
The Raiders have offered the 31-year-old a base salary of $3.5 million,
with bonuses bringing his total potential earnings to $6 million.
As an NFL veteran, Cooper brings vast experience with him to Las Vegas, being a regular feature for the Bills following his mid-season trade.
His arrival came just hours after reports that Jakobi Meyers, 28, requested a trade.
Meyers had been expected to be the Raiders’ leading receiver following Davante Adams’ departure.
He has one season remaining on his three-year $33 million deal.
Contract negotiations have stalled between Meyers and the Raiders.

Cooper is expected to slot in as a starter at the Raiders, partnering
the 24-year-old Tre Tucker.
The Raiders finished the 2024 season at the bottom of the AFC West
division, claiming just four wins.
A late surge in December 2024 provided a slight boost, claiming victories against the Jacksonville Jaguars and New Orleans Saints.
Incoming quarterback Geno Smith, 34, adds an offensive threat for the Raiders as they look to improve drastically this season.
Wide receiver Cooper is set to make his second Raiders debut on Saturday, September 7, as they face the New England Patriots in the
opening round.
