NFL veteran who has made $21 million wakes up unemployed after brutal roster cut that leaves fans ‘surprised’

THE CINCINNATI BENGALS have axed Germaine Pratt amid ongoing brutal roster cuts.

Pratt, 29, was one of the most consistent performers for the Bengals ever since he was drafted out of NC State in 2019 and went on to make approximately $21million in career earnings.

The linebacker led Cincinnati with 143 total tackles last season, including five tackles for a loss to go with a pair of interceptions and fumble recoveries.

That left a number of fans of the NFL franchise upset as they vented on social media.

One supporter tweeted: “I’m so sad, this guy has been a part of so many great highlights. He will be missed.”

Another commented: “Bengals’ horrible defense is getting worse at an alarming rate.”

A third wrote: “Gonna miss watching him play.”

This fan said: “Bengals’ team building strategy is strange to say the least.”

That one posted: “Bengals do not believe in Defense.”

And that fan stated: “I am so surprised.”

Pratt becomes the Bengals’ latest casualty after fellow defenders Sam Hubbard and Trey Hendrickson.

Hubbard recently retired and Hendrickson is holding out amid a contract dispute.

Fellow defensive players Shemar Stewart and Demetrius Knight II are both in team meetings but sat out of drills during organized team activities as they decided against signing the requisite waivers.
