THE New York Jets have revealed a major update on Justin Fields after he was carted off the field due to a seemingly troubling injury.

Multiple reporters at the Jets’ second day of training camp at Florham Park, New Jersey, reported that Fields appeared to hurt his leg during team drills.
Fields limped to the sideline and was then evaluated by trainers off to the side and carted inside the team facilities, per The Athletic.
The Jets stopped the 11-on-11 portion of practice when Fields left and started special teams drills.
There was concern that Fields suffered a serious injury.
But it seems that Fields caught a major break as a little less than an hour later, Jets head coach Aaron Glenn revealed that the 26-year-old suffered a toe injury.
Glenn shared that he believes Fields had a foot stepped on, which caused his injury.
Fields will be undergoing X-rays to determine the severity of the injury, the first-year head coach added.
