Black Mirror screenwriter Charlie Brooker confirmed that he is working on a very secretive four-part detective drama.
His previous shows were always made under the utmost secrecy and had code-names attached like Haven Green and Redwood.
But pictures have emerged from the set of the new show which shows one actress looking almost unrecognizable.
Lena Headey, 51, is best known for her role as Cersei Lannister in the global hit HBO drama, Game Of Thrones.
She received a Golden Globe nod and five Primetime Emmy Award nominations for playing the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros.
Now she has taken on a new role in the new crime thriller and has been spotted on set shooting key scenes.
Lena looked extremely serious as she was dressed in a long black coat with gold buckles and leather collar panels.
The global streamer previously revealed a short description of the plot of the series.
It read: “[The project] is a profoundly serious, stunningly original crime thriller in which a tormented detective from the Northern city of Bleakford ventures down to London on a mission to catch a ritualistic serial killer before they run out of people to kill.”
Netflix added: “Contains blood and frowning.”
It seems the star may have taken on the role of the detective as she was also seen in a white shirt and a monochrome police scarf.
The character’s outfit also contained a prominent gold aiguillette on her undercoat to further add to the dramatic look.
Her hair was completely sleeked back as she was joined by fellow actor Paddy Considine as the pair worked away.
In between takes, the actress was handed a red water bottle by a member of the crew as she battled the elements outdoors.

“I’ve dreamt of providing a quote ever since I was a young foetus, and now here I am doing it.
“I’d pinch myself, but like all of us, I’m terrified that if I do that, I might wake up and discover 2025 has all been a magical dream. Please watch my show. I am begging you.”
