THE Mahoes family is asking for prayers for a young member of their family.

Luka is the grandson of Randi’s cousin, and is dealing with a rare form of cancer.
He was “perfectly healthy” up until eight months old, when he inhaled swimming pool water.
At first, Luka’s family thought he may have developed pneumonia.
However, the diagnosis was much worse than initially feared.
Last month, he was diagnosed with stage L2 intermediate neuroblastoma, a cancer that only affects around 800 children in the US every year.
Luka started chemotherapy after going in for surgery to repair his lung.
With Luka now in treatment, Randi is begging fans to help him.
“Please join me in continuing to pray for my cousin’s grandson,” she wrote on Instagram.
“Sweet Luka is still fighting Stage L2 intermediate neuroblastoma.
“He is undergoing chemo and fighting hard.
“Please pray for this sweet family as they are going one of the hardest trials of their lives.”
Randi also posted a link to a GoFundMe page to support Luka.
Luka’s mother is an ICU nurse, and cannot work while he is sick in fear of bringing an illness to her son.
The fundraiser has already surpassed $9,000.

Luka’s family has revealed that he is out of intensive care and into the oncology unit.
“Currently, Luka has moved out of intensive care and is on the oncology floor,” the GoFundMe says.
“His chest tube still remains in place and is still draining. His next round of chemotherapy will take place on June 25th, and the oncologists are hoping that after the second round, the fluid draining from his lung will subside.
“His parents, Cassie and Carlos, have remained by his side since he was admitted.”
