PATRICK Mahomes was spotted lining up in a different position at Kansas City Chiefs training camp.
Eagle-eyed NFL host Kay Adams made the observation as she took her show to their base in St Joseph, Missouri.

And Adams, 39, asked both head coach Andy Reid and quarterback Mahomes about the position decision.
The presenter announced on an episode of Up and Adams that she saw Mahomes lined up as a wide receiver.
Adams saw receiver Rashee Rice at quarterback in a complete role reversal.
She interviewed coach Reid and asked about the move.
“That’s not his deal,” Reid said.
“He’ll keep his day job at quarterback.
“But you’ve got to have a few razzle dazzle plays.”
Mahomes also joined Adams on her set by the side of the field.
And he made a public plea to his Chiefs head coach during the interview.
“I line up out there once in a while,” the quarterback said.
“Coach doesn’t give me a lot of shots.
“I think I got ‘Mossed’ a couple years ago by Keanu Neal and he won’t throw the ball to me any more.”
The term “Mossed” is usually made in reference to losing a 50-50 jump ball.
It refers to hall of fame wide receiver Randy Moss.
Mahomes declared, “I want a redemption.

Mahomes has only been targeted as a receiver four times during his NFL career.
He had one reception for six yards in the 2022 season.
And he had another catch for two yards last year.
He was targeted twice in 2020 but didn’t make a catch on either of those plays.
