PH Army reorients towards territorial defense, sustains counterinsurgency gains

The Philippine Army is undergoing a strategic shift from decades of internal security operations towards a posture focused on territorial defense, Army commanding general Lieutenant General Antonio Nafarrete said on Thursday.
