Every Tuesday in July, Pizza Hut customers can get their hands on a one topping pizza for just $2.

But, demand saw the small snack fly off the shelves.

On X, one customer shared a note that had been put in a local Pizza Hut restaurant.

“You guys really love our $2 Personal Pan Pizza,” it said.

“Unfortunately we sold out today – the demand was incredible.”

Bosses admitted staffers couldn’t keep up with the demand.

Restaurant bosses tried to give reassurance to diners who missed out.

“Don’t worry, it’ll be back and ready for you next Tuesday,” the note concluded.

Pizza Hut chiefs have also revealed that the $2 deal is not disappearing.

They confirmed the Tuesday offer will continue to be available beyond July, as reported by USA Today.

Chiefs are tight-lipped on when the deal will expire.

But, customers have to follow a series of rules when redeeming the offer.

There is a limit of four personal pizzas per customer and the deal is only valid for takeout orders.

Diners must pay extra if they want more cheese or additional toppings.

Pizza Hut’s $2 deal

PIZZA Hut diners across the US can get their hands on a $2 pizza every Tuesday. But, the deal has several caveats.

  • The deal is only available until supplies last.
  • It’s only available one day a week.
  • The deal is only valid on carry out orders.
  • Customers can only buy a maximum of four $2 pizzas.
  • Diners must pay extra for additional toppings.

Customers have to fork out an extra 50 cents if they want added cheese.

The prices of additional toppings start at 69 cents each.

Shoppers don’t have to buy any other item when taking advantage of the promo.

Bosses have been left stunned by the response to the promo.

“The response has been nothing short of incredible and we are even selling out of Personal Pan Pizzas at thousands of restaurants across the country,” Melissa Friebe, the chief marketing officer of Pizza Hut US, told USA Today.

But, diners have encountered problems when trying to access the deal.

“Your app is not working,” said one customer, who addressed Pizza Hut on X.

“The deals, melts, and your $2 personal pan deals open up to blank screens. Fix it.”

“I thought the $2 deal was today,” another said.

“Store opened 15 mins ago and talking about the deal is gone.”

One fan said they hope the mastermind behind the promo deserves a pay raise.

The U.S. Sun has approached Pizza Hut for comment.
