Wendy’s is bringing shoppers a sample of the taste they love most, right to store shelves.
One customer at a Kroger in Kentucky spotted frozen double-smoked bacon from Wendy’s.
Wendy’s has already put its burgers in stores, and is now adding another item to the list.
If you want bacon, but specifically Wendy’s bacon, you can have it in the comfort of your own home.
It was revealed on the social media platform Instagram last week.
The caption of the post said: “Fresh never frozen bacon??!!
“@wendys is on a market roll and I’m here for it!
“First the burgers, now Double-Smoked Bacon! I hope we get the nuggets and fries next!
“Spotted at a Kroger in Kentucky, not sure what other locations will get it yet. I’ll reach out to Wendy’s and update soon.”
The picture revealed the iconic Wendy’s logo for all to see, with 12 frozen strips of bacon in clear packaging.
MIXED REACTIONS
The comments were a mix of shock and confusion, with some wondering if the item was necessary.
One person has seemingly embraced the idea of cooking the bacon at home.
They wrote: “Time to build it at home!!!”
And this enthusiasm was seen in another comment: “Interesting!”

A sceptical shopper commented: “Why? What is gonna be different from the bacon that has been in market?
“Besides double smoked. What next? Frosty?!”
And another added: “I just don’t understand the point.”
It is not known if Wendy’s plans to bring out more products like this to stores, or where else customers can grab the bacon.
The US Sun has reached out to Wendy’s for comment.
