FAST food fans are going wild as yet another restaurant offers a $1 menu for summer.
Foodies can grab a cheap bite during Sonic’s new ‘Snacky Hour’ – but they’ll need to time their visit.

It comes after McDonald’s relaunch fan-favorite snack wraps[/caption]
The fast food chain is offering three $1 items every day from 2 to 5pm.
Included in the new $1 menu is the corndog, two-piece mozzarella sticks, and a soft pretzel twist.
And on Mondays, customers can pair these snacks with a 99-cent slush.
If you can’t get a visit in on that day, don’t fret as there’s plenty more offers up for grabs.
Those visiting on other days get 50 percent off drinks or Slush purchases from 2 to 4pm.
And on Thursdays, Sonic serves up a Buy One, Get One Free Footlong Quarter Pound Coney deal.
All of these offers, plus app-exclusive specials, are available at Sonic’s 3,500 locations nationwide.
Sonic is one of the many fast food chains launching deals and new products.
The summer deal comes after Sonic brought back fan-favorite Crispy Tender Wraps, priced at $1.99 on its FUN.99 menu — days before McDonald’s relaunched its controversial Snack Wraps.
The Snack Wrap officially made a comeback after nine years of fan pleas, and it’s here to stay – and at an affordable price – McDonald’s president and CEO Chris Kempczinski revealed at the chain’s second quarter earnings call on Wednesday morning.
He shared that the $2.99 price is expected to be maintained and advertised nationwide through the end of 2025.
“We launched Snack Wraps with an attractive $2.99 nationally advertised price point and early results are encouraging,” began Kempczinski.
“Our franchisees also recognize the importance of the $2.99 price point, and we’re excited to announce that they recently voted to extend this advertising through the end of the year.”
Although prices and participation may vary by location, fans can expect McDonald’s to promote the tasty Snack Wraps at $2.99 across the country in 2025, if not longer.
SNACK ATTACK
The Snack Wrap is a soft flour tortilla filled with one of McDonald’s new McCrispy Strips, crisp shredded lettuce, and shredded cheese, now available in Spicy and Ranch versions.
The iconic menu item was discontinued nationally in 2016 much to the dismay of fans, prompting endless backlash and pleas for McDonald’s to bring back the easy-to-eat offering.
Customer demands ultimately pushed the fast food chain to rethink its decision and revive the Snack Wrap after nearly a decade.
McDonald’s admitted that, while the chicken wrap was dropped from the menu, it “never left fans’ hearts.”
“From countless social media posts to full-fledged petitions, they never gave up on their favorite menu item,” the chain wrote on its Snack Wrap Files site.
“They’re the ones who inspired us to make its return to the menu happen.”
