Popular restaurant chain ‘better than Chipotle’ confirms locations of new sites across five states

The beloved fast-casual brand continues to expand in 2025 – and fans are rushing to their website to see if one of the new sites are nearby.

Cava told USA TODAY earlier this year it planned to open over 60 new restaurants in 2025.

Its target is to expand to 1,000 locations nationwide by 2032.

At the end of 2024, it was operating 367 restaurants in 26 states and the District of Columbia.

As part of the new openings, fans should expect to see Cava locations in Naples, Detroit, New York City, Philadelphia, Knoxville.

All the new sites are “coming soon” – but the firm has yet to announce when exactly each location will open.

It comes after the chain launched 58 new spots in 2024.

Cava is a Mediterranean-inspired fast-casual chain that has become a favourite among diners for its bowls, pitas, and salad.

You can customize all dishes with different ingredients.

They are also famous for their delicious pita chips.

The growing chain currently has over 400 locations across the US.

The new sites come after the company entered the Pittsburgh market earlier this summer.

They opened their first store in the city in August this year – and a second location has already been planned.

Cava also launched new locations in Indianapolis, Cleveland, and Charlotte in early August.

Additionally, its first-ever Michigan location in Canton opened in July.

The chain saw a profitable fiscal year in 2024, and is aiming to build on that momentum.

CEO Brett Schulman has announced the company’s intentions to focus on its in-store experiences.

The chain also revealed plans to experiment with new in-store furniture and color schemes.

These updates are part of the brand’s efforts to create a more welcoming atmosphere for customers.
