SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – Several power lines are down in Huron, following storms that touched down Wednesday morning, causing heavy rains, powerful winds, and flooding in some areas.
The Huron Fire Department posted photos of the damaged power lines on Facebook, saying it was a busy morning for the department.
“Lots of work still to be done. Thankful for the guys at Northwestern Energy,” the fire department wrote on their Facebook post.
According to an SDSU mesonet, there was wind speeds of 76 mph recorded in Walworth County Wednesday morning.
