Back in July, Good Morning America hosted a segment which saw contestants compete in a special preliminary ‘Caffeine Couture Challenge.’
Three contestants were tasked with creating special looks in an ode to caffeinated beverages that people like to drink first thing in the morning.
Project Runway judge Law Roach was on hand alongside designer and season 4 winner Christian Siriano to give their verdicts on the looks.
The aspiring designers got the chance to appear on ABC’s flagship morning programme to promote the long-running series.
The contestants who took to the airwaves were Ethan Mundt, Belania Daley and Jesus Estrada on the show.
However, many viewers have pointed out that the three contestants to first appear on breakfast television all made it into the final five on the show.
One user took to fan-forum social media site Reddit as they claimed that bosses may have accidentally leaked what happened on the show before it even started airing.
On the site, the thread was titled: “Did anyone else see the Good Morning America challenge right before the season aired?”
While the user wrote: “Why would they have chosen those 3 designers for it if they weren’t the final 3?
“And why would they spoil who the final 3 are before the season even aired?
“With the way the cliffhangers have gone this season I don’t think that they actually eliminated both of them, and maybe not either of them.. Thoughts?”
Other fans of the hit fashion show couldn’t help but agree as they flooded the comments section.
Another fan commented: “I knew who the top 3 were, too. They wouldn’t make anyone do that much press otherwise.”
