While watching the latest episode, a few things ran through my mind: Why doesn’t she just choose Conrad? How can she afford to live in Paris?

But, most importantly: When can I book my next flight to the city of love?

If watching the show has prompted you to think about those questions and more, then fortunately for you, we’ve listed some of the places Belly has been so that you can recreate your very own TSITP-inspired Parisian adventure.

Of course, Belly hasn’t had time to explore all of Paris just yet, so I threw in some other suggestions of my favorite can’t-miss cafes and bars that you should add on to your itinerary.

HOW TO GET THERE

Yes, you may be feeling impulsive, but we recommend being more cautious than Belly was and booking your ticket in advance.

For most flyers, you should look for flights into Charles de Gaulle Airport.

The cheapest times to visit the city are in the fall, just before Christmas markets begin to open, and from mid-January to March, before the nicer weather arrives.

No matter what time you choose to visit, my favorite ways to search for the cheapest flights are by setting a price drop alert on Google Flights or Skyscanner.

Both websites will allow you to enter your home airport and destination, and then show you the cheapest days to travel.

Booking through third-party websites such as Booking.com or Expedia also tends to be cheaper, but make sure to check that you’re insured should your flight be delayed or the brother of your fiancée comes confessing his love to you and you need to cancel.

Currently, Americans don’t require a visa to stay in Paris for up to 90 days for holiday purposes.

However, in late 2026, American tourists are expected to apply for the European Travel Information and Authorization Systems visa, which will need to be booked before traveling.

WHERE TO EAT

While the name of the cafe where Belly got her bag stolen isn’t explicitly mentioned, she may just have been at Cafe Mericourt in the 11th arrondissement.

The cafe is famous for its elaborate brunch, which features the classic pancakes with unique dishes such as green eggs and feta.

Plan your own Belly-inspired trip

How to get there:

Where to visit:

  • Eiffel Tower
  • Jardin du Luxembourg
  • The Louvre
  • Notre Dame

If all you’re craving is a classic croissant paired with a latte, look no further than Tranché Marais.

Tranché has locations all over Paris serving a variety of bread, French pastries, and coffee, which will make any trip to the French capital feel complete.

For a traditional French meal at a reasonable price, Belly will surely find herself dining at Bouillon Chartier one day.

Bouillon offers guests a chance to try classic French cuisine made with local ingredients against the background of an awe-inspiring restaurant.

WHERE TO DRINK

When Conrad finally arrives in Paris, I hope he and Belly have the chance to sit by the Seine and sip on a crisp cocktail from Les Nautes.

Nothing quite compares to listening to dozens of other Parisians chat over a glass of wine as they all gather together to watch the sunset over the water.

Les Nautes doesn’t serve food, but it does offer small cheese boards and crisps for snacking.

After watching the sunset at Les Nautes, you need to head to the underground jazz and swing club, Caveau de la Huchette.

I first discovered Caveau de la Huchette from a fellow traveler I met while in Paris, and was surprised when I entered the never-ending basement club, packed with music lovers.

The expansive space still maintains an intimate vibe, making it perfect for a date night in Paris or a night out with friends.

WHAT TO SEE

Of course, no trip to Paris is complete without seeing the Eiffel Tower.

If you want to see the tower really shine, you’ll need to visit at night when it twinkles once the sun goes down.

To walk through French history for free, you should grab a croissant and take a stroll through the Jardin du Luxembourg.

The free park is divided into French and English gardens, featuring 106 statues scattered throughout the grounds.

Both emphatic art lovers and casual admirers must stop in the Louvre.

There’s no doubt that if Belly had actually studied in Paris, her class would’ve taken her to the iconic museum at least twice.

It’s always best to book a timed ticket to the museum in advance, especially if you’re traveling during a busy season.

Finally, if you want to stop at one of the classic French destinations that Belly manages to visit in her first few moments in Paris, then add the Notre Dame to your list.

The Notre Dame Cathedral was first opened in 1345, but famously caught fire in 2019.

The flames burned for 15 hours, causing significant damage to the building’s structural integrity.

In December 2024, the cathedral was done being rebuilt and once again opened to the public.
