Gronk heard those questions, and decided to give fans a look at his own experience inside of a dynasty.

“Let me lighten you up with some history,” Gronk said.

“A lot of people right now are talking about the Chiefs dynasty.

“Well, in 2014 the New England Patriots came here into Kansas City on Monday Night Football.

“You put a whopping on us 41-14 and everyone was saying ‘the dynasty was over, hey Tom [Brady] can’t play quarterback anymore, Gronk is coming off injuries he can’t run anymore…

“Well guess what? That was the ignition to the second era of the dynasty.”

Gronk basically said that the Chiefs are at a crossroads.

They can either rediscover their identity and keep the dynasty alive, or the team can fall into obscurity.

“The Chiefs are in a similar position,” Gronk continued.

“What will they do? What direction will the dynasty go?”

The Fox NFL Sunday cast loved Gronk’s speech, with Curt Menefee specifically saying he sounded like a WWE superstar.

“Was that a hell turn like John Cena there?” Menefee asked.

That got a huge laugh out of Gronk and the rest of his cohosts.

After the Fox NFL Sunday episode, the Chiefs fell to 0-2 on the season.

The team kicked the season off with losses to the Los Angeles Chargers and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Kansas City now has a must-win game in Week 3 against the New York Giants.

If the offense continues to struggle, there will be major concerns regarding the ability for the Chiefs to make the playoffs.

With the Baltimore Ravens looming in Week 4, the Chiefs need to get things figured out quick.
