However, the PGA of America announced Wednesday that the location of the final day of the junior tournament is being switched.

The competition was scheduled to finish on Thursday, but will no longer take place at Bethpage, New York.

The singles matches have now been moved 15 miles away to the historic Nassau Country Club in Glen Cove.

Ryder Cup officials released a statement announcing the devastating news for the world’s best junior players.

“Due to the forecast of inclement weather on Thursday, September 25, and the adjusted scheduling at Bethpage Black,” the statement said.

It connected: “The singles matches of the 13th Junior Ryder Cup will be contested between 8:00 and 9:39 a.m. at the historic Nassau Country Club in Glen Cove, New York, which hosted the foursome and four-ball matches on Tuesday and Wednesday.”

It is the 13th Junior Ryder Cup ever held, and consists of the best players from across the United States and Europe.

Bethpage is due to be a washout on Thursday, with heavy rain and thunderstorms rolling in causing a scheduling nightmare.

Farmingdale, where the course is situated, is predicted to suffer heavy showers for most of the day, including overnight.

The junior foursome and four-ball rounds were held at the Nassau Country Club on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the Ryder Cup will have a security ring of steel around it on Friday when the main action starts.

US President Donald Trump will be attending the afternoon session of the event.

Secret Service and top cops have added expanded security measures to protect the POTUS.

It comes in the wake of Charlie Kirk‘s horrific assassination earlier this month.
