SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KELO) — A man accused of kidnapping a woman from a Sioux Falls store, raping, robbing and killing her will learn his fate today.

Amir Beaudion, Jr., 24, originally faced more than a dozen charges for the 2020 crime. Earlier this year, he made a deal with prosecutors. He pleaded guilty to manslaughter and in exchanging kidnapping, rape and murder charges were dismissed. Today the judge is hearing from investigators involved in the case, along with people who were close to the victim.
Pasqalina Badi’s sister took the stand this morning and told the judge the crime devastated her family. When asked how her mother was doing, she broke down and began crying.
