SHEDEUR Sanders has opened up about his relationship with Cleveland Browns teammate Joe Flacco after performing his rookie responsibilities for the veteran.
The 2025 fifth-round rookie and son of Deion Sanders spoke at the Browns‘ mandatory minicamp on Tuesday.

Sanders is part of a crowded quarterback room that consists of veterans Kenny Pickett, Flacco, Deshaun Watson, who’s set to miss the 2025 season due to an injury, and fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel.
It will be a quarterback competition throughout the summer as each will look to earn a spot on the 53-man roster in August.
The Browns have finished rookie minicamp, OTAs, and are taking part in mandatory minicamp this week.
Sanders spoke to reporters and was asked about his conversations with his quarterback teammates.
The Colorado Buffaloes product first made sure to speak about his relationship with Flacco.
“I joke with Joe all the time, every day I see him,” Sanders said.
The 23-year-old then touched on his conversations with Pickett and Gabriel.
“Kenny, he had his experiences throughout his career overall. So, we just share a lot of the same things,” Sanders said.
“And Dillon, of course, we’re the same age group.
“You know, those guys are older, so me and Dillon, we’re the same age group, so we just talk about experiences, you know, just in college and everything so far.”
Sanders’ admission about his relationship with Flacco comes after he said he would help organize the 17-year veteran’s locker when speaking about the NFL hierarchy.
He spoke about the potential gesture during a recent livestream as he was organizing his own locker.
“I know that when I’m a vet, I’m going to have a rookie organise my locker every day, before he leaves,” Sanders said.
“Here’s the thing, if Flacco told me to do this every day, I would do it.
“Real talk, I go to him every day and say, ‘Bruh, you good? Do you need anything?’ “It’s respect, you feel me? Ask him.”

Flacco is in pole position to grab the Browns’ starting job for Week 1 in September.
Sanders’ fifth-round selection followed the pick of Gabriel.
The Browns will look to improve after a disappointing 3-14 season in 2024.
After this week’s mandatory minicamp session, they will prepare for training camp which usually takes place in late July.
