Shilo Sanders puts NFL career in doubt after ejection for throwing punch at Bills rival before Buccaneers roster cuts

SHILO SANDERS has put his NFL career in major doubt by PUNCHING a fellow player.

Sanders – the younger brother of Cleveland Browns QB Shedeur and son of two-time Super Bowl winner Deion – was in pre-season action for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers against the Buffalo Bills on Saturday night.

But the safety saw red midway through the match and outrageously punched Bills tight end Zach Davidson.

Sanders took exception to being roughed up by Davidson, who pushed him towards the end zone, following a play.

A pushing match ensued before the duo were eventually separated from one another.

Rookie Sanders, however, failed to calm down and proceeded to throw a wild punch at Davidson right in front of the referee.

The ref didn’t hesitate to throw the flag before ejecting him from the game.

Sanders’ actions went viral and quickly became the talk of NFL fans.

One stunned viewer wrote on X: “84 started it TBH.”

Another said: “Bad look.”

And another said: “Oh wow, here we go.”

One remarked with a laughing GIF: “Throwing punches in the pre-season.”

Another chimed in: “If Sanders was ejected, the Bills guy should have been ejected too.”

Sanders’ actions could cost him a place on the Bucs’ roster, which will be trimmed down in the coming days.

Teams have until Tuesday to cut down their squads to 53 players.

The Bucs will kick off their 2025 NFL campaign on September 7 away to the Atlanta Falcons.
