SHANNON Sharpe and the woman who accused him of sexual assault have settled their $50 million civil lawsuit.
Sharpe, who denied the allegations and called them a “shakedown,” stepped away from his role on First Take in April in the midst of the legal filing.

Tony Buzbee, the attorney for the woman, announced on Instagram that his client and Sharpe acknowledged their “long-term consensual and tumultuous relationship” and reached a mutual agreement.
“On April 20, 2025, The Buzbee Law Firm filed a complaint in Nevada making several allegations against Shannon Sharpe on behalf of our client,” Buzbee caption his post.
“Both sides acknowledge a long-term consensual and tumultuous relationship.
“After protracted and respectful negotiations, I’m pleased to announce that we have reached a mutually agreed upon resolution.
“All matters have now been addressed satisfactorily, and the matter is closed. The lawsuit will thus be dismissed with prejudice.”
