SINGER D4vd is under fire after online conversations linked to him about a death investigation started disappearing from the internet.
Reddit users are accusing D4vd, 20, of deleting scathing posts about his creepy lyrics from his own subreddit after it emerged that he was the only moderator listed on the forum.

D4vd, real name David Anthony Burke, canceled his global tour after a 15-year-old girl named Celeste Rivas was found dead in his Tesla in Los Angeles earlier this month.
Police are still investigating Rivas’ death.
D4vd hasn’t been charged with any crime connected to the case.
However, that hasn’t stopped the public from speculating about his role in the death of Rivas, who was reported missing in April 2024.
Reddit users gathered on D4vd’s subreddit, which has more than 219,000 members, to discuss the case.
Chilling details began to emerge about D4vd’s alleged relationship with Rivas.
Her mom confirmed the teen had been dating someone named David before she disappeared.
Users began to point out that, in addition to his song titled Romantic Homicide, D4vd had an unreleased song that had lyrics about someone named Celeste.
A video appearing to show D4vd and a girl believed to be Celeste on a livestream together also resurfaced on the subreddit page.
Fans of D4vd, who is best known for making music that is popular on TikTok, began to piece together alleged clues with saved screenshots and pictures from the singer’s social media accounts.
Then, Redditors started to realize that their posts were being deleted from the forum.
Posts in a subreddit can only be deleted by the user who posted it or the subreddit’s moderator.
The only moderator listed as belonging to the subreddit was D4vd himself.
Users quickly jumped to accuse D4vd of trying to keep control over the narrative of his alleged relationship with Rivas.
Timeline of the investigation so far

August 5, 2025 – D4vd starts his Withered World Tour.
September 6 – D4vd’s Tesla is towed after it was abandoned on a street in Hollywood Hills.
September 7 – Rivas turns 15 years old.
September 8 – The Los Angeles Police Department discovered a dismembered body wrapped in plastic in the trunk of D4vd’s impounded Tesla.
September 17 – The decomposing body is identified as Celeste Rivas.
September 18 – D4vd’s house is searched overnight and investigators take a computer and other evidence. D4vd continues his tour with a show in Seattle.
September 19 – D4vd cancels the rest of his tour.
September 23 – It’s revealed that D4vd and his manager have broken their lease and left the house that was raided in Hollywood.
“It’s disgusting. Why is he still on here and playing Fortnite? I thought he was with the police,” one Reddit user slammed.
It’s a possibility that posts could have been removed by an automoderator, which would have automatically filtered out certain content from the discussion threads.
But then the subreddit was locked hours after the posts had started disappearing, meaning Reddit users can no longer make any posts.
Because D4vd’s information is no longer available on the page, some users alleged he left the subreddit entirely, which disables other people from posting any more.
This also means that people must request to join the community before they’re allowed to post.

“He just locked the sub and left the mod status. But his account still exists, so he manually did this. It was 100% him,” one user alleged.
Another posted, “He’s also the only mod, and he doesn’t want to take accountability for his actions soooo it’s possible he’s stalking these comments.”
In the meantime, users have moved to a thread called r/D4vd2 to discuss the ongoing investigation.
Reddit didn’t immediately return The U.S. Sun’s request for comment.
D4vd didn’t return a request for comment and has yet to publicly speak about the case.
DISTURBING CASE
Rivas was found dismembered in the front trunk of D4vd’s Tesla in a tow yard on September 8.
When police responded to employees calling about a disgusting smell from the car, they found the heavily decomposed body wrapped in a bag inside the trunk.
It’s unclear how the teen died, but police said they believed she had been dead for a while.
Shortly after Rivas’ body was found, it was discovered that she had a tattoo on her hand that matched one on D4vd’s right index finger.
On September 17, detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department searched a house in Hollywood Hills where D4vd was believed to be staying.
Investigators reportedly seized a computer and brought multiple evidence bags out of the house.
Days after the raid, D4vd and his manager broke their lease on the house.
Cops still haven’t named D4vd as a person of interest in the case and have said he’s been cooperative in the investigation.
A GoFundMe page for Rivas’ family has raised over $25,000.
