SOPHIE Cunningham sent a message to her fans after a physical play during Tuesday’s WNBA game.
Cunningham’s Indiana Fever took on the Connecticut Sun in a rematch of a fiery game earlier this year.

The 28-year-old was down after apparently taking a shot to the head.
The incident happened in the fourth quarter when Indiana led 66-65.
Cunningham tried to set a screen for teammate Aliyah Boston.
But Sun player Olivia Nelson-Ododa saw it coming and tried to block Cunningham.
The Fever star ended up taking a hard elbow to the face.
But, to the surprise of her teammates, no foul was given by the officials.
Cunningham got up to continue the play and made minimal fuss.
But she spoke about the incident on social media afterwards.
One fan posted on X, “Sophie Cunningham takes an elbow to the head. No call.”
And the WNBA player quoted the tweet in her reply.
“They said I flopped. El oh el,” Cunningham said.
Cunningham was involved in a heated clash with the Sun earlier this year.
She was ejected from a game on June 17 for a confrontation with Jacy Sheldon.
And the WNBA later hit her with a fine.
But her popularity rose among fans as a result of the incident.
Supporters claim she came to the rescue of teammate Caitlin Clark, who was part of an earlier incident.
Indiana came out on top 85-77 in Tuesday’s game at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.
But Clark was once again forced off injured in the latest setback during her frustrating season.
The 23-year-old appeared to re-aggravate a groin injury in the last minute.
She also was seen shouting towards an official after apparently being left furious over a call.
