SOPHIE CUNNINGHAM has claimed there is a target on Indiana Fever’s backs.
The team have endured a tough start to the WNBA season, sitting seventh after 16 games.

Cunningham was asked about their patchy form after an 85-75 defeat to the Los Angeles Sparks on Thursday night.
Star player Caitlin Clark has had her campaign plagued by injuries and there has been talk that the packed schedule is impacting them.
But Cunningham did not want to make excuses in her post-game press conference.
Though she did admit that Fever players feel they their opponents up it when they are playing against them.
Cunningham explained: “We are circled on everybody’s schedule. No one likes us, right?
“So everyone in our locker room, that’s the only type of people that we have that we can lean on.
“We got to be better in that area. We have got to stay disciplined. We have to stay focused.
“We need to get consistent and we got to lean on each other.
“I think that we’ve kind of wavered a little bit on that – we have our own islands.
“But as one of the leaders on the team, I have got to do a better job of grouping people, right?
“We just got to be better from top to bottom.
“But the schedule thing, that’s just an excuse.”
Cunningham admitted there has been a lot of “distractions” for Indiana so far this season.
But she remains confident, claiming it was a positive to get “through the adversity early” so they can “learn from it”.
And perhaps this is the start of their turnaround as they beat the Dallas Wings 94-86 on Friday after Cunningham’s remarks.
But Fever have a tough task next against top of the table Minnesota Lynx.
