The eight-minute tirade discussed how the WNBA veteran was trying to use Clark’s fame to feed her own prominence.

However, Cunningham clapped back at Bayless, blasting him for using her name for views due to his lack of an audience.

Speaking on her podcast, Show Me Something, Cunningham said, “Dude, Skip, who’s the clout chaser?

“You’re literally using my name as your headline so people can click on it.

“And, like, my thing is, I don’t mind the guy. I don’t mind the guy.

“I have no beef with you. I’ve never met you, I’ve actually really never listened to you.

“I’m just kind of in my lane and someone sent it to me, and I was like, ‘What is this?’

“He’s calling me a clout chaser, dude, you’re the one who has my name plastered all over your YouTube that had 36 views, like get out of here.”

Bayless is an American sports columnist and television personality, best known for his fiery debate style.

The outspoken pundit first rose to fame covering the Dallas Cowboys before turning to TV.

He became a household name on ESPN’s First Take alongside Stephen A. Smith, where sparks regularly flew.

In 2016, he jumped to Fox Sports to front Undisputed, but the show was unceremoniously canceled last year.

As well as hosting her own podcast, Cunningham is a shooting guard for the Fever in the WNBA.

She was traded to the team in January.

But has already helped her side become WNBA Commissioner’s Cup champions.

The 29-year-old first debuted in the league back in 2019 for the Phoenix Mercury.

She was picked up in the 2019 Draft in the second round, having graduated from the University of Missouri.

Cunningham has earned recognition as an enforcer during her WNBA career.

Earlier this year, she went viral for pulling Jacy Sheldon to the ground after Sheldon poked teammate Caitlin Clark in the eye.

Unfortunately, Cunningham suffered a season-ending knee injury last month, so will be out of action for a while.
