Indiana Fever star Cunningham has become a hit with WNBA fans[/caption]

She has been hailed by fans for being teammate Caitlin Clark‘s protector following rough treatment by opponents.

Cunningham has also turned heads with her stunning outfits while arriving to WNBA game this year.

But it was a snap of her wearing a two-piece bikini on the sand that has social media talking.

The 28-year-old looked sensational as she smiled in the snap, while also wearing a cowboy hat.

She captioned the image with “take me back”.

Social media went wild for the picture, describing her as “flawless”.

“Sophie the fever Barbie,” said on excited fan.

Another added: “You are stunning!”

A third replied: “Beach Goddess.”

A fourth commented: “Wow! Absolute goddess.”


And one said: “Stunning beauty, Sophie!”

Meanwhile, Cunningham also sent a clear message to the WNBA over her future.

It comes ahead of the upcoming All-Star game next month.

There are ongoing talks over the collective bargaining agreement (CBA).

And she was joined by teammate Sydney Colson in reading a statement during their media duties over the weekend.

She said: “On behalf of my teammates and every member of our union, I want to be very clear that we remain committed to negotiating the next CBA with the league and the teams in good faith and privately.

“But we do want to set the record straight. This is a defining moment in the WNBA.

“As the league grows, it’s time for the CBA that reflects our true value.

“We are fighting for a fair share of business that we built.”

They also called for an increase in wages for the WNBA’s stars.
