STARBUCKS employees in three states have taken legal action against the company over its dress code rules.
The coffeehouse giant is being sued after it enforced a new uniform policy on employees, but did not reimburse them for the new clothes they had to buy.

The workers, who are being backed by their union, have filed the lawsuits in in state court in Illinois and Colorado.
Employees have also filed complaints with California’s Labor and Workforce Development Agency.
If the agency does not seek penalties against Starbucks, the employees will escalate it to a class action lawsuit, per the AP.
