Gordon was reportedly due to host a five-day “intimacy retreat” for couples in the tourist hotspot of Bali, Indonesia.
But police detained the mother-of-one as she was flying into the capital Jakarta on September 16.
She was deported from Indonesia just two days later.
Her arrest came following reports of her explicit work in a villa at Seminyak in southern Bali.
Authorities say she initially entered the country on September 4.
But she is alleged to have abused her “stay permit” by organising a paid “Intimacy Mastery Retreat”.
In this retreat, she would offer clients Kama Sutra lessons and relationship coaching.
Officials in the Muslim-majority country reportedly also found sex toys at the villa.
Adult material is strictly banned in Indonesia.
Winarko, head of the Ngurah Rai Class I Special Immigration Office, said: “Every foreigner in Indonesia must comply with immigration regulations and respect applicable legal norms.
“We will take firm action against anyone who abuses their stay permit.”
Before her arrest and deportation, Gordon had advertised her retreat on social media.
She was charging a staggering $6,997 (£5,180) for the five-day course.
As well as being deporting her, officials have also imposed a travel ban on Gordon under Indonesian law.
She was sent away from Indonesia on an EVA Air flight to Los Angeles.
Gordon has previously spoken out about being trafficked for sex when she was 19 years old.
The California resident managed to escape her abusers by faking her own death.
Gordon claims she then went to Thailand – where she learned “tantric therapy” as a means of healing from a decade of sexual exploitation.
As well as her intimacy coaching, she also set up a non-profit called Beyond Freedom to support trafficking survivors.
Speaking student paper The Daily Titan, she said: “I became obsessed with holistic healing methodology because that’s how I healed.
“And so, coming full circle, I really wanted to be able to provide the same types of healing that I experienced for other survivors.”
