TAYLOR Frankie Paul made a bid for the Bachelorette gig 3 years ago but everyone missed it – and now she’s being praised for her manifestation skills.
On Wednesday morning, the MomTok sensation was announced as the leading star for Season 22 of ABC‘s hit dating show The Bachelorette.

And in a video she made three years ago before she shot to fame on The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives, Taylor hinted at how she was keen to take part in The Bachelorette.
She spoke about her new TV stint and search for love while appearing on the Call Her Daddy podcast on Wednesday with Alex Cooper.
And while speaking on the podcast, she spoke about a “funny video” she made “three years prior” to becoming the leading lady on The Bachelorette.
Explaining how people would tell her she should go on the show, Taylor decided to take matters into her own hands.
BID FOR BACHELORETTE 3 YEARS AGO
She recalled, “I made a funny video and this was actually 3 years prior.
“I made the same video [in June 2025], but I was like, hey, I’m single. I think I’m looking for someone. That’s what the TikTok’s saying,” Taylor explained, referring to the June 2025 remake of the video.
Taylor went on, “I literally was like, ‘Ah, this is funny. Bachelorette, send it off.’
“And then once I did, like people started tagging The Bachelorette.
“I don’t know if that got their attention or someone was like, ‘Yeah, maybe.’
“And then it was mostly it was a joke to me, like unattainable, right? Like I’m never going to be the Bachelorette, but I’ll make a fun TikTok,” she joked.
The remake video of the video she originally shared three years ago, was uploaded back in June of this year.
TAYLOR’S ‘AUDITION’ FOR BACHELORETTE
In the video, she mimes over the top of the viral Lindsay Lohan searching for love audio from when the actress mocked dating shows.
“Hi, I’m Taylor and I’m taking matters into my own hands, this is my audition,” she penned in the caption of the post.
At the time, fans were obsessed with the idea of her appearing on the hit ABC show.

Fans have since praised Taylor for her manifestation skills.
On Reddit, one person said, “It’s really crazy that Taylor made a TikTok joking about wanting to be the bachelorette and it actually worked.”
Meanwhile, underneath her June TikTok fans have congregated to react.
“THIS AGED WELL,” said one.
A second noted how they “now believe in manifestation”.
While a third wrote, “This worked lol.”
WHEN WILL SEASON 22 AIR?
Taylor’s signing marks the very first time that the leading lady of The Bachelorette will be a woman who was not previously part of the franchise.
According to Deadline, Taylor’s season of The Bachelorette will replace The Bachelor in early 2026.
Season 22 also comes after ABC paused the franchise this year while it was replaced by Season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise.

New leading Bachelorette Taylor is a mother of three.
She rose to fame on TikTok as part of the MomTok group.
Then, she shot to stardom even further last year when The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives premiered on Hulu last year.
Taylor has two ex-partners, her ex-husband Tate Paul and her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen.
Tate is the father of her two eldest children, Indy and Ocean.
She and Tate split in May 2022.
