“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” Swift light-heartedly wrote in an Instagram post.

Given the singer-songwriter’s global influence and popularity, some inspired couples are sure to start getting engaged afterward.

At least that’s what TrustedPrenup.com is expecting, as it recently launched a limited-time promotion known as “The Taylor Swift Offer.”

It’s specifically for women, with a deal of $50 off prenuptial agreements for the next 87 days.

Even the 87-day window is a nod to Kelce, as he wears the #87 jersey for the Kansas City Chiefs.

The nods and puns about Swift and Kelce didn’t stop there, either.

“At TrustedPrenup.com, we know All Too Well that protecting yourself is key before saying Forever & Always,” Shane Farley, co-founder of the company, told Daily Mail.

“A prenup isn’t about expecting Bad Blood. It’s about building a strong foundation so your love story stays Ours.”

The offer can be redeemed while checking out at TrustedPrenup.com using the code TAYLOR87.

Prenups can cost as little as $3,000 and as high as $30,000.

James Sexton, co-founder of TrustedPrenup.com and a divorce attorney, also emphasized while speaking with the outlet that prenups can inspire confidence for those getting married.

“Prenups aren’t just for the wealthy,” Sexton said.

“They’re a tool to protect your future, clarify expectations, and empower couples to start their marriage with confidence.”

“Think of it as a way to step into your relationship fully prepared, financially and emotionally,” he added.

What is a prenuptial agreement?

A prenuptial agreement (or prenup) is a legally binding contract.

It outlines how assets, debts, and spousal support are divided up should the marriage end in divorce or after a spouse’s death.

The couple signs it before getting married.

It’s considered a practical financial planning tool that can protect each individual’s assets and simplifies the divorce proceedings should that happen.

SIGNING UP

Farley also said there has been a growth in prenups in recent years due to shifting financial and social dynamics.

“Women are out here building careers, businesses, wealth and they’re often the ones bringing more to the table,” he explained.

“So why wouldn’t they want to protect what they’ve worked for?”

This is accurate, as some recent studies show that about 47% of millennials sign prenuptial agreements.

That’s because much of the stigma around them being “cold or unromantic” has faded, according to Farley.

LANA’S MISTAKE?

Given this, Farley and Sexton were also surprised that fellow singer-songwriter and celebrity Lana Del Rey didn’t get a prenup when marrying Jeremy Dufrene.

“I hope for her sake she didn’t make a huge mistake. With over 50% of marriages ending in divorce, it’s silly not to get a prenup,” Farley said.

The divorce rate has actually been steadily declining in recent years, according to Modern Family Law.

As of 2024, the rate remained between 40% and 50% for first marriages.

Taylor Swift fans can even get their own version of her jaw-dropping $1.2 million engagement ring for just $129 in September.

Wedding costs are also up about 35% this year and it’s “devastating” couples, but there are some top tips that can keep them on budget.
