THE KANSAS CITY CHIEFS and Travis Kelce suffered a nightmare start to the season.
The Chiefs faced the Los Angeles Chargers in Brazil to kick off their NFL campaign.

However, Kansas City suffered a 27-21 defeat to the Chargers in a match that marked their return to the field following a miserable Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
The season started with the best signs for Kelce, 35, after his engagement to star singer Taylor Swift.
However, the Chiefs‘ performance raised some questions regarding their ability to dominate the NFL like they did the last two terms.
And Swift, 35, couldn’t make the long trip to Sao Paulo to cheer for her fiance.
The tight end endured a rough night that also saw him getting embroiled in a scuffle.
Kelce locked horns with Chargers ace Teair Tart during the match.
The Chiefs star gave Tart a small shove at the end of a play that the latter obviously wasn’t thrilled about.
The nose tackle responded by throwing a haymaker at his opponent, which drew the attention of the referees.
The situation was quickly settled down, and a full on brawl was thankfully avoided.
However, Los Angeles were handed a 15-yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Tart was not ejected from the game despite his attack on Kelce.
