TAYLOR Swift skipped the Kansas City Chiefs’ season opener in Brazil on Friday night.
And the reason for the music megastar’s absence has apparently been revealed.

Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement just weeks before the NFL season began.
And Kelce then set off to Sao Paulo, Brazil for Kansas City’s season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Fans were eager to see whether his new fiancee Swift would make the trip.
But they were left disappointed by her absence.
According to the Daily Mail, Swift missed the game over security concerns.
They quoted a source as saying, “The travel and the cost and most importantly the security, which goes along with the aforementioned travel and cost are all the reasons Taylor didn’t go to the game to see Travis play.
“She would have wanted her security team there a few days ahead to make sure everything was OK.
“So, with all of that combined, it would have been a tremendous cost for only a few hours to be in the city.”
Kelce spoke on New Heights this week about the logistical nightmare in Brazil.
“I know the stadium’s two hours away from the hotel,” he said.
“That’ll be a unique experience driving to the game for two hours, the old college football way that we used to drive.
“We were dealt a hand, and we gotta play it.”
Kelce added, “It is what it is.
“It’ll be rewarding if we go down there and find a way to win knowing that this is such a unique schedule and unique experience.”
“I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t excited to go down to Brazil.”

But that was the only bright spot of a largely forgettable night for Kelce and the Chiefs.
Kansas City suffered a 27-21 loss to their division rivals.
Kelce also accidentally injured his teammate Xavier Worthy when the pair ran into each other.
And he was also smacked in the face by an opponent.
