The tear-jerking video taken just six weeks before his death shows Kirk behind the scenes at Fox and Friends, where he was filling in as a co-host.

In the short clip, Kirk’s three-year-old daughter excitedly approaches her father, saying, “Hi, daddy.”

The young girl runs into her father’s arms, as he embraces her with a smile and says, “Isn’t that the best?”

Kirk posted the video on Instagram and captioned it: “Happy Sunday from @foxandfriends and from my family! God bless!”

At the time, followers commented on the wholesome family moment.

“The joyful and spontaneous running towards her beloved daddy is the sweetest expression of pure love,” one woman commented.

“Nothing quite like the innocence of a child.”

Six weeks later, the video is now a memorial of Kirk’s love to his family.

“Watching this hurts my heart,” one commenter wrote on Wednesday.

“This little girl lost her father.”

Donald Trump was one of the first people to confirm the death of Charlie Kirk on September 10.

Videos spread on social media showed Kirk being hit by what appeared to be a single bullet that caused blood to run down his neck.

Initial reports stated that Kirk was brought to a hospital in critical condition, but hours later, it was confirmed that he died.

“The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead,” Donald Trump posted on Truth Social.
