CAMERA-SHY Andy Byron was a toxic boss, an ex-colleague of the Astronomer CEO has alleged.
Former employees were said to be “laughing their a** off” after Byron was caught canoodling with his HR chief Kristin Cabot at a Coldplay gig in Boston.

The incident, which has since gone viral, reportedly sparked glee among Byron’s ex-staffers, a former direct report told The New York Post.
They said: “The text groups and chains of former employees are like… everybody’s laughing their a** off and enjoying the hell out of what happened and him getting exposed.”
The insider described Byron as a “sales-obsessed” executive who was allegedly “toxic” in the workplace.
Byron, who is reportedly married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, had his arms around Cabot’s waist during the infamous kiss cam moment.
As the stadium camera lingered on them, Cabot covered her face and turned away, while Byron dove behind a barrier in a cringeworthy attempt to hide.
As he caught view of himself, Byron appeared to say “f****** hell, it’s me”.
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, initially believing he had caught a sweet couple’s moment, said from the stage: “Either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy.”
As laughter echoed around the packed stadium, Martin followed up: “Holy s**t. I hope we didn’t do something bad.”
Social media lit up in response, accusing Byron of cheating and praising his wife for her quiet reaction.
Megan Byron is said to have removed her married name from Facebook before deleting her account entirely.
Her Instagram also vanished soon after.
Supporters rallied online: “Go Megan. Get that divorce lawyer and get the money,” one user posted.
Another added: “Hope she takes him for all he’s worth.”
Cabot, who uses the name Kristin Cabot Thornby on LinkedIn, reportedly divorced her husband in 2022.
She joined Astronomer nine months ago and was publicly praised by Byron at the time for her “exceptional leadership” and “deep expertise in talent management.”
She responded then with equal enthusiasm, saying she was “energised” by conversations with Byron and the Astronomer leadership.
Cabot had previously boasted on LinkedIn she “wins trust with employees of all levels, from CEOs to managers to assistants.”
The now-viral footage, filmed by concertgoer Grace Springer, has racked up more than 46 million views and nearly 5 million likes as of Friday.
She told The U.S. Sun: “A part of me feels bad for turning these people’s lives upside down, but, play stupid games… win stupid prizes.”
An even longer video of the moment has since dropped, showing the full reaction of panicked “mistress” Kristen Cabot.
Fake social media posts have also since circulated, including a spoof apology allegedly quoting Coldplay lyrics and a hoax about the band creating “camera-free audience sections” for secret affairs — both of which have been debunked.
Meanwhile, Chris Martin cracked a joke with another couple on the kiss cam – just one night after the infamous kiss cam incident.
Neither Byron nor Cabot has publicly addressed the scandal.
Byron’s LinkedIn account was taken down by Thursday afternoon.
Astronomer — which secured a $93 million funding round in May backed by Bain Capital, Salesforce and others — has yet to respond to multiple requests for comment.
