TEEN Mom star Jenelle Evans has given an update on dating rumors with rapper Lil Wayne and how she’s looking for love on Hinge.
Jenelle, 33, officially became a single woman in July when her divorce from ex-husband David Eason was finalized.

After ending her tumultuous seven-year marriage in 2024, Jenelle relocated from North Carolina to Nevada with Jace, 16, her son with ex Andrew Lewis, Kaiser, 11, her son with ex Nathan Griffin and Ensley, 9, her daughter with David.
With her past behind her, Jenelle is ready to find love again.
In an exclusive interview with The U.S. Sun, Jenelle said of her new-found freedom, “It feels amazing. I didn’t realize how much I couldn’t think for myself until I had no one around.
“I was like, ‘Wow I can make decisions on my own without other people’s opinion.’”
After a brief relationship with her manager August Keen, Jenelle found herself linked to rapper Lil Wayne earlier this month.
She revealed over social media that the A Milli rapper slid into her DMs and flew her out to Los Angeles, where she met him in his personal studio.
She said she did not want to hook up with him, despite him wanting to “jump into it.”
“I didn’t date anyone famous,” she explained. “I did have a little visit with Lil Wayne. And that’s all I can say about it. We’re keeping things civil. We’re friends.”
While Jenelle hopes to meet someone “organically,” she is currently on Hinge looking for love.
“Sometimes I don’t check it for weeks at a time,” she said of the dating app. “It shows where you are traveling, so sometimes when I’m in New York I match with guys here, when I’m in LA I match with guys there.
“It’s keeping up the convo and some guys are not good at communication skills.
“I have been on a few dates. Right now I am taking it slow. I see red flags way earlier on. I think that’s why I am taking my time. I am focusing more on my career and my opportunities. I don’t want a distraction.”
Jenelle did reveal she would be “up for” marriage and more children, but “would have to be with them for a while to decide that” because she is “out of the diaper stage!”

During Jenelle’s time on Teen Mom 2, fans were introduced to her on-again, off-again boyfriend Kieffer Delp.
Jenelle revealed if she could reconcile with one man from her past, it would be Kieffer.
“He’s really funny, he was really protective of me,” Jenelle gushed. “The only problem with our relationship was him being on drugs.
“If he had his life together and stable I would be up for that.”
Kieffer posted on social media in August that he is “off drugs” and a “father to a baby girl.”
Jenelle said of her ex, “I am happy for him.”
MOM LIFE
When Jenelle isn’t making career moves and looking for love, she is caring for her children.
But Jenelle has been at the center of parenting scandals in recent years, as The U.S. Sun reported in August that someone called Child Protective Services after Jenelle left her two youngest children in the care of her oldest son, Jace.
When contacted by The U.S. Sun for comment, Jenelle said, “That’s not true, I have a babysitter, I’ve had the same babysitter for a while, I use Care.com.”
Jenelle also said, “CPS has not came to my house at all.”
The U.S. Sun reached out to Clark County CPS for comment.
As for Jenelle’s son Jace, he is now living with her mom Barbara in North Carolina after a series of troubles.
Jenelle told The U.S. Sun of parenting misconceptions, “A lot of people think I am never with my kids. A lot of the top comments are, ‘Where are your kids? Aren’t you taking care of them?’
“People don’t realize I’m alone in Vegas with my two kids. I’m the only one who takes them to and from school. I am busy being a mom.”

The tumultuous pair have had their fair share of falling outs
Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans met David Eason on Tinder in September of 2015.
Jenelle got pregnant in April 2016 and announced she suffered a miscarriage, then she became pregnant again with her and David’s daughter, Ensley, a few months later.
The pair got engaged in February 2017 and tied the knot that September.
A year after saying “I do,” Jenelle called 911 and accused David of assaulting her outside their home. She would later call the incident “a drunk and dramatic misunderstanding” and said she was “fine.”
In around May 2019, David shot and killed their French bulldog puppy named Nugget. Weeks after the incident, CPS took custody of all of the children, including their daughter, Ensley, Jenelle’s son, Kaiser, and David’s daughter, Maryssa.
When her children were returned to her, Jenelle fled to Tennessee with Kaiser and Ensley and filed an order of protection against David in October. She ultimately dropped the case and went back to him.
In the following years, the couple sparked split rumors as the pair would often unfollow each other on social media and update their Facebook relationship statuses.
On February 23, 2024, Jenelle filed for separation from David. She stated that she filed the documents with “the intent that the separation be permanent” and claimed that Eason had “exhibited concerning and at times disturbing behavior towards [her]” throughout their marriage.
On July 11, 2025, their divorce was finalized.
CAREER MOVES
Jenelle has been in New York City for Fashion Week, as she attended a Rookie Kids fashion show with Kaiser and Ensley on Thursday, September 19.
Jenelle revealed to The U.S. Sun that she is focusing on releasing a podcast and launching a network.
“I am starting a podcast network,” she proudly said. “I will be signing moms that I have befriended on TikTok.
“It’s going to be about motherhood, parenting, relationships, divorce, anything I want to talk about. I am going to have special guests from time to time.”
She added of her career ventures, “I am producing two to three shows right now. They are in the works. I am excited to announce them.”
