And the unbeaten American is clearly full of confidence having ALREADY started celebrating what would be his 42nd career win.
Crawford was gifted a 2025 Rolex Submariner by his newest sponsor WatchGuys.com – which included a 42-0 engraving etched on the case back.
The 37-year-old’s eldest son was also gifted a luxury timepiece.
Crawford bids to become the first man to ever win undisputed titles in THREE divisions – having done so at 140lb and 147lb.
“Greatness means everything to me now because I’ve got something to do once again,” he said.
“No fighter has ever done before and that’s become three-time undisputed champion in the male division.
“My girl Claressa (Shields) did it in the female division but I was the one to do it in the male division two times and I’m going to be the first to do it three times.”
Crawford – a champ spanning FOUR divisions from 135lb to 154lb – also talked down retirement.

“I’m not focussed on that right now,” he said. I’m focussed on the task at hand, I’m dialled in. My only mission is Canelo. That’s it.”
Canelo, 35, also refused to entertain the thought of his career coming to an immediate close ahead of what could be his last blockbuster bout.
“I don’t know if this is the last big fight or if great things lie ahead,” Canelo said through a press conference translator.
“I can tell you what, I’m focussed on this fight, all I care about is this fight. I’m enjoying this historic fight and this opportunity.
“I’m enjoying this one because we don’t know about the future or what lies ahead.”
