After acknowledging the absence of Jerry Johnson, Bradshaw called out when he would leave Fox.

Bradshaw has two years left on his contract with Fox.

He made a statement that indicated he could be done with Fox NFL Sunday in two years.

Johnson retired at 82 years old, and he is just six years older than Bradshaw.

Contrary to Bradshaw’s comments on Fox NFL Sunday, he said before last season’s Super Bowl that he is looking to stay on TV until he is around 80 years old.

“I told my wife before I left the room a while ago, I’m sitting there, I said, ‘I’ve got two years left at FOX. I’m 76’, he said.

“Okay, so it’s a young man’s game.

“I get that.’ Everybody wants the new.

“And so I said, ‘If we can get to the next Super Bowl, I’ll be 80. That’s, I think that’s time’.

“80 years old, that’s pushing it.”

If he were to stay with Fox NFL Sunday until he hits 80 years old, Bradshaw would need an additional two-year extension with the network.

While Bradshaw is looking to stick around for a few more years, fans are ready to see him retire and shared their thoughts on social media.

“Terry Bradshaw needs to retire,” one fan said.

“Terry Bradshaw needs to be taken off the air,” another fan said.
