THE BACHELOR star Melissa Rycroft crashed into a tree just before her arrest for driving while intoxicated last week, The U.S. Sun has confirmed.
The married mother of three, 43, was spotted “driving erratically” at 12:05 PM on Tuesday, September 23, near her Texas hometown.

According to cops in Texas, the former ABC star was allegedly seen driving erratically on September 23rd.
Just after noon, police received a call for the star’s black Cadillac Escalade that had smashed into a tree.
“Following a standardized field sobriety test, [Melissa] was arrested for driving while intoxicated.”
She was transported to the local jail.
Fortunately, police said, no other vehicles were involved, and no other injuries were reported.
The reality star’s attorney, Bret Martin, told The U.S. Sun, “I want to remind the public of the fundamental principle of our justice system…every individual is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
“We, as a society, have gotten completely away from this fundamental concept. My Client was arrested on the allegation of Driving While Intoxicated. An arrest is no indication of guilt.
“It is imperative that we closely examine the circumstances of this case-including the conduct of law enforcement, the toxicology results, and the facts surrounding her arrest-before any conclusions are drawn.”
Melissa’s attorney added, that he hopes people withhold judgment “until all of the evidence has been properly analyzed and presented in a court of law.”
