A CONTESTANT from The Challenge has revealed how he found out he had been cut from the show.
MTV icon Tyler Duckworth has recalled how he found out he was axed from the series before it even began.

The 43-year-old star found out he was not going to be part of the Free Agents series in 2014 as he was boarding the plane to head to film the show.
Appearing on a podcast, he said that the reason he was given was a “casting change”.
Discussing MTV‘s The Challenge ahead of the Vets and New Threats series premiering tonight, he and Zach Nicols chatted about the Free Agents series.
Tyler explained how he and his then partner were driving to LAX so he could fly out to film Free Agents when he got a phone call.
The executive that called him said, “This is a really hard call to make. We had to make a casting change.”
Tyler revealed his sadness over being dropped and questioned what he did wrong to be axed.
“Free Agents would’ve been so fun,” he said.
Reacting to the revelation, one person said, “I’d love to know who they replaced him with.”
“Tyler deserved better,” said a second.
“Casting has always and continues dropping the ball,” wrote a third.
A fourth person then said, “This hurts to hear.
“Would have changed the whole season and as much as I love that season I feel it would have been even better with Tyler there.
“P**sed they changed it last second.”
While a fifth said, “There’s got to be something deeper to why MTV stopped casting him, because Tyler was made for the Challenge.”

This comes ahead of the new series of The Challenge starting tonight.
Vets and New Threats will hit television screens this evening, and see a slew of returning vets go up against a group of brand new threats.
The returning vets include Michaela Bradshaw, Theo Campbell, Derek Chavez, Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio, Aneesa Ferreira, Leroy Garrett, and Nany González.
As well as, Olivia Kaiser, Derrick Kosinski, Aviv Melmed, Ashley Mitchell, Nia Moore, Rogan O’Connor, Cara Maria Sorbello, CT Tamburello, and Turbo.
