He previously wrote about being gay from 15 years of age, but now claims religion altered his life’s path[/caption]

He then competed on The Inferno 3, The Duel II, and Rivals.

Davis had long been open about being gay, with him writing a lengthy post on Facebook in 2018 about his coming out story.

“I knew I was gay since I was 15,” he said at the time.

“I grew up singing in my church choir, and I witnessed other straight members of this choir excel in music careers.

“I didn’t pursue music because I didn’t see a place for myself as a gay artist,” he said.

Davis added, “I knew I was gay before Ellen DeGeneres came out.”

But now Davis has said he is no longer gay after claiming God pulled him out of the lifestyle of sin.

Taking to Instagram, Davis said this week, “This morning’s revelation…let me know your thoughts?”

He went on, “I feel like God gave me this vision that us being righteous and following the law is his perfect plan for us.

“Sinning in anyway is not his plan for us and is not us honoring his design for how he made us.

“He did not design us to sin, and when we live a life of sin, we are not just dishonoring God, but we are doing a disservice to ourselves and our character.”

Davis continued, “Think of all the stories of the men and kings who pleased God, and honored his command and those who did not.

“We are still being judged under those same standards.”

The lengthy “revelation” went on to say, “Jesus’ sacrifice is so we do not have to make a blood sacrifice offering when we sin as he was the final offering, that’s what Jesus’s death is for.

“Jesus’s life was for new teachings and calling for new standards and calling for new standards and righteousness.

“Yes, when he dies his Holy Spirit dwells within us to guide us and to keep us Pure and also to comfort us and to give us words of wisdom and discernment of evil, but it was never in God’s plan for us to sin, and it will never be our benefit to sin in anyway.

“Because we are still called to the same righteousness as before Jesus was here on earth. We are going to be judged by God by our righteousness.”

One fan rushed to the comments to ask Davis, “Do you still consider yourself gay?”

Davis replied, “What does it mean to be gay?”

The fan said, “Are you attracted to men? Do you sleep with men?”

Davis said back to the fan, “Do I find men beautiful? Yes of course. Do I find women beautiful? Yes of course.

“We are created in God’s image and in His likeness. The beauty of creation gives glory to the Creator. I’ll ask you this. What do you believe the design of sex is for? What do you believe is sexually immoral behavior?”

The fan seemed annoyed that Davis was not answering the question properly and pressed, “You’re dodging my question lol I asked two very specific questions after you asked me a very specific question.

“Are you sexually attracted to men? And do you have sex with men?”

Davis replied, “To answer your question directly then NO & NO.”

The fan added, “Interesting. I watched you on the real world when I was 21 and followed to a degree afterwards. Am I correct in assuming you participated in a conversion therapy of sorts?”

Davis replied to the fan a final time saying, “Not really. But God started giving me vivid dreams and healed me from trauma and showed me the spiritual warfare I was under.”

And in a video of Davis performing his song Baptized, he speaks to an audience as he says how he “lived the gay lifestyle for 20 years”.

Davis explained how “He started speaking to me in my dreams” and how “everytime I returned to sin I would have a nightmare”.

He also said how God pulled him “out of that lifestyle a year ago”.

Reacting to the video of his testimony, one person said, “Davis wow I love you you are such a pure soul! Son of God. Keep sharing your testimony you are anointed!”

While another said, “Wow, Davis! So powerful! So proud of you! Praise God!”

And a third penned, “So proud of you!!!!”
