The new ‘Adult’s Playground’ arcade which has opened in Philadelphia with plans to expand around the US

FORMULA 1 is on a meteoric rise in the US, and it is being capitalized on with a new business venture.

F1 Arcades are opening up around the country for racing fans to try their hand at the most thrilling sport in the world.

Earlier this month, F1 Arcade’s newest location in Philadelphia had its grand opening.

Hundreds of Philadelphia locals poured in to try their hands at racing and to enjoy amazing food and drink.

While it is Formula 1 themed, those within F1 Arcade want it to be known that even non-fans should come try it out.

“This is an F1 concept, it’s obviously an F1 arcade,” Jon Gardner, US President of F1 Arcade told The U.S. Sun.

“But I think fundamentally what we bring from an experience perspective is not just for F1 fans.”

“This is F1 all year round, but you don’t have to be into it to have a blast,” Liz Norris, VP US Launch Strategy & Communications of F1 Arcade told The U.S. Sun

“So just getting in one of these cars or the simulators, you shake, you crash, you spin out.

“We had a couple here yesterday pushing each other to distract. Team racing is so interactive.

“So the top screen is a spectator screen. You can scream, Hamilton’s coming right behind you. And your bottom screen is how you are as a driver.

“So it’s incredibly social, high energy.”

The experience at F1 Arcade is a lavish one, with all of the glitz and glamour of Formula 1 packed into one venue.

The company wants to give fans an experience like they would get if they were a VIP at a real-life race.

“We’ll have the comfort dishes like a burger or a flatbread, but we also do raw ahi tuna, tartare, scallops, oysters, etc.,” Norris said.

“So you can experience a little bit of what it would feel like to be in the paddock club.

“At the same time, there’s something for everyone. One percent of the population get to go to a race.

“If we can allow them to feel that fabulous for a moment, whether that’s your work crew or your friends, that’s what we’re here for.”

F1 Arcade is like a playground for adults. People enjoy food and drink and can’t wipe smiles off their faces while racing against friends and strangers.

Incredible live music flows through the venue during the racing, keeping the energy up for hours.

F1 Arcade has locations in Philadelphia, Boston, and Washington DC[/caption]

“It’s an adrenaline hit in less than an hour,” Norris said.

F1 Arcade currently has three locations in the US: Philadelphia, Boston, and Washington DC.

However, there is more on the way, with Denver, Las Vegas, and Atlanta all getting F1 Arcades soon.

There are also plenty of plans for further expansion throughout the US.

“I think you’ll see where races are. A lot of people are asking us are we coming there too?” Norris said.

“So Miami and Austin feel very obvious, not announced but in consideration.”

“It’s been very much focused on city center sites throughout the U.S. So we’re looking at New York, looking at Miami,” Gardner continued.

F1 Arcade is an incredible experience, and if there is one in your city it’s worth the trip for a fun night out.
