‘They’re trolling us now’ – Jerry Jones and Dallas Cowboys go on spending spree after refusing to pay Micah Parsons

THE DALLAS COWBOYS have handed massive contract extensions to two stars after Micah Parsons’ dramatic exit.

The Cowboys sensationally traded Parsons, 26, to NFL foes the Green Bay Packers recently putting an end to a long-running saga between him and Dallas owner Jerry Jones.

The defensive end was holding out for a new contract with his former team after four spectacular seasons at the AT&T Stadium.

However, Jones, 82, wasn’t interested in making Parsons the highest-paid defensive player in the NFL.

Instead, the Cowboys supremo let him go in exchange for two first-round Draft picks and Pro Bowler Kenny Clark.

Parsons then signed a four-year, $188million deal with the Packers and became the highest-paid non-quarterback in the division.

But despite Jones‘ refusal to splash the cash on one player, Dallas still didn’t spare any expenses on DaRon Bland and Hunter Luepke.

According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, cornerback Bland, 26, signed a four-year extension with the Cowboys worth a staggering $92m.

And NFL experts Tom Pelissero as well as Mike Garafalo added that fullback Luepke, 25, agreed to terms on a two-year contract extension worth up to $7.5m.

Cowboys fans had a field day on social media after hearing about their sensational spending spree.

One fan tweeted: “They’re trolling us now.”

Another commented: “Thanks Micah!”

A third wrote: “Cowboys always gonna Cowboy.”

This fan said: “Jerry Jones is a troll LMFAO.”

And that one gushed: “Wow!”
