THREE North Carolina college football players have been suspended indefinitely.
The athletes from East Carolina University were arrested on Sunday.

Greenville police told WITN that they were called to a house a mile away from the ECU campus for reports of gunshots.
On their way to the scene, police also reported hearing gunshots.
When they arrived, police talked to J.D. Lampley and Preston Carr outside.
Brock Spalding allegedly refused to come outside before the situation was resolved.
Lampley and Carr admitted to shooting a gun and were charged with discharging a firearm within city limits.
Spalding was charged with discharging a firearm within city limits as well as resisting, delaying, and obstructing officers.
No injuries were reported, according to police.
This is still an active investigation, and more charges can possibly be brought against the football players.
All three are members of the ECU football team and have since been suspended for the incident.
“ECU Athletics is aware of the arrests of three members of our football team, and we are continuing to gather information,” the athletic department told WITN.
“All three individuals have been suspended indefinitely from all team activities.”
Lampley is a defensive tackle who was heading into his senior season at ECU.
Last year he produced 27 total tackles, 2.5 sacks, and one forced fumble.
Carr was also a defensive lineman who was heading into his junior season.
He only appeared in one game last season, making two tackles in a loss against Army.
Spalding is a wide receiver who was entering his junior season.
Last season he caught just five passes for 71 yards and no touchdowns.
East Carolina begins its season on August 28 against North Carolina State.
