In a statement shared to her Instagram, the Today host wrote “For many years, I’ve shared my family with you all the highs, the lows, the ups, the downs, and all of the blessings and beautiful memories in between.
“I’m incredibly grateful for the support and love you’ve given me through it all,” she continued.
“For that reason, I want to share with you that a few months ago, Brian and I made the decision to separate.”
“We began as friends, and we will remain the closest of friends.
Most importantly, we will continue to co-parent our three wonderful boys together with nothing but love and respect for one another,” she said.
Dylan added a special thank you to her fans for all of their support.
A source exclusively told The U.S. Sun, “They’re just separated, and have been separated for a few months now.”
“They are their friends, they are co-parenting and there is no major drama.
“They need to operate as friends now, instead of husband and wife, and that’s what’s best for them and best for the kids,” the insider added.
“People close to them have known for a while, but they are ready for it to be out in the open,” the insider, who is close to the Today meteorologist and her husband, added.
In what was likely a sign of things to come, the couple listed their stunning New York City home for $2.5 million back in January.
TELLING SIGN
Dylan, 43, and Brian, 38, lived in the two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo for nearly a decade, raising all their children there after purchasing it in 2016.
According to property records, they first attempted to sell their marital home in November last year, listing it for $2,500,000.
However, the listing was removed just two weeks later.
A few days after, the property was put back on the market and was relisted in January at the same price.
The apartment spans 1,500 square feet and features floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning views of Battery Park.
Building amenities include a full-time doorman, porters, a sky-lit indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, state-of-the-art fitness centre and a children’s playroom.
It also has a massive landscaped rooftop with two built-in commercial barbecue grills, a wet bar and cabanas.
DYLAN AND BRIAN’S RELATIONSHIP

The couple first met at work in Boston.
Dylan Dreyer and Brian Fichera first met while working the early shift at Boston’s WHDH television station.
Brian, a writer and producer, married Dylan in 2012, and they share three young sons: Calvin, born in 2016; Oliver, born in 2020; and Russell, born in 2021.
During her third pregnancy, Dylan opened up on Today and said, “We really enjoy having kids. Calvin and Ollie, they’re so much fun.
“And we’re like, ‘Let’s try for a third.’ And it wasn’t happening, so we said, ‘Let’s forget it, let’s move on.’ And then, of course, surprise!”
The couple has also faced challenges, including a miscarriage.
In a 2019 interview on Today, Dylan reflected on the difficult experience of coping with the loss while continuing her work on the show. “I’m devastated, and I have to go to work on The Today Show and be happy and smiling and pretend like nothing’s wrong,” she shared.
Currently, Dylan and Brian are in the process of selling their New York City apartment, which has been their family home for the past decade, for $2.5 million.
The couple purchased the home after selling their previous pad on the Upper West Side for $845,000.
Six months after settling into their condo, the couple welcomed their eldest son, Calvin, in December 2016.
Over time, they expanded their family with the arrivals of two more sons, Oliver and Rusty.
In addition to the condo, they also own a property in Point Lookout, New York, which they purchased in 2021.
The four-bedroom, three-bathroom home was bought for $2.5 million.
